Logging in
A login widget is available at the bottom of the right sidebar for member’s to login to the BIS website.
Member’s menu
The members menu contains content that is only available when logged in to the BIS website. Content includes the following:
- On-line library database
- Member poll results
- BIS volunteers – information for members wanting to volunteer to help the BIS
- Upgrading your membership
Admin Bar
When you log-in to the BIS website an Admin bar will be visible at the top of every page. For most users this Admin bar will contain a Search box on the right-hand side of the screen, and a menu on the left enabling each member to update their profile.
Profile
The menu in the Admin bar enables a user to edit their profile. This includes editing a user’s:
- Name
- Nickname
- Display name
- e-mail address
- Password
Commenting
Some posts on the BIS website will enable commenting for members. Comments can be for the post or for other comments on that post.
Look for a box at the bottom of a post that says “Leave a Reply” and add your comments. You can subscribe to comments via an RSS feed at this address http://www.bis-space.com/?feed=comments-rss2
