BIS West Midlands is very pleased to be hosting two experts in their respective fields. The afternoon promises to be both fascinating and entertaining a must for those interested in Rocket Technology and Future access to Space!

Talks

Shamus Reddin – Will be discussing Helmuth Walter and his company Walter Werk of Kiel. Prior to and during the Second World War Helmuth Walter was the leading proponent of Hydrogen Peroxide as a Rocket Propellant. Hydrogen Peroxide technology was used extensively in British Rockets after WWII. David Ashford’s – talk is titled ‘The Impending Revolution in Spaceflight’ and brings us bang up-to-date with a talk including Space Tourism and low cost access to space! David is an aeronautical engineer who has a large no of papers on the subject published.
