As part of the ongoing VITA mission, Brits can combine their pictures of famous regional landmarks such as Edinburgh Castle and Big Ben with brand new images from space by astronaut Paolo Nespoli.

With thousands of pictures taken of landmarks a day, snap happy Brits can create their own unique photograph using the SPAC3 app using symbol of the mission the ‘Third Paradise’, created by Michelangelo Pistoletto.

Users of the SPAC3 app can then upload their creations to social media using the #SPAC3 hashtag. By doing this, they will also be uploaded to a social interactive mosaic of the ‘Third Paradise’ symbol – a reconfiguration of the infinity symbol.

This will allow Brits to see creations from all across the world with VITA’s six main themes: Land, Food, Water, Health, Climate and Transformation.

Michelangelo Pistoletto said:SPAC3 is a big artwork that connects all the people to the space mission. Science and technology goes on toward the Space with Third Paradise: in this way technology brings together the humanity in a big project of balance and harmony

“I can’t wait to see all the pictures of the UK combined with the Third Paradise.”
