BIS Space: EMPS Workshop

The Tenth Electronic Materials and Processes for Space workshop will be held in Villepinte, France, just outside of Paris. The workshop is hosted by Instituut de Soudure, the French ESA Approved Training School.

The next materials workshop for Spacecraft Engineers and persons interested in high-reliability electronics will be held in Paris 15-16 May 2019. It is called Electronic Materials and Processes for Space. This is a joint European Space Agency and the University of Portsmouth event. EMPS attracts more than 100 participants including materials, components and quality engineers from industry, academia and agencies such as ESA, NASA, CNES and ASI.

Workshop Timetable

The workshop will open in the early afternoon of Wednesday 15th May 2019 and close by 5 PM on Thursday 16th May 2019.

The call for Abstracts is now open. Please note, abstracts are due in by 22 February 2019. Topics for presentations lasting 20 minutes can be seen on the below link:

Workshop Registration

Registration is expected to open from 15 March to 1 May 2019.
