The BIS is a registered charity and non-profit organisation.
Therefore we rely on the support of our members, as well as donations to be able to achieve our charitable aims, as well as:

  • Develop and deliver space-themed outreach programmes.
  • Maintain our HQ building, which houses our world-leading Space Library and Archive. 
  • Support our membership, branches and networks.
  • Create our Publications and magazines.
  • Provide informative events, lectures, symposiums and conferences.
