BIS 2023 AGM and members Open Discussion/Get-together

Online or in-person at the BIS HQ in London.

Fellows of the Society are invited to attend the 2023 Annual General Meeting at 15:00 GMT.

All BIS Members are invited to join the open discussion after the AGM at 16:00 GMT. We hope to have many of you join us.

Both events are free to attend, however the AGM part between 15:00-16:00 is restricted to BIS Fellows only. The ‘Members Open Discussion and Get-together’ after this from 16:00 is open to all BIS Members and Fellows.

Timings for the DAY:

15:00 BIS Annual General Meeting (Fellows only)

Registered Fellows participate in the BIS AGM, either in-person at the BIS HQ or online. Any non-Fellows will be asked to leave the conference room for the duration of meeting, however are welcome to stay and socialise in the building or use the library whilst the AGM is taking place, until the members open discussion at 16:00, where they will be invited back in to the room.

Fellows can read more and register for the AGM through the ‘Fellowship Papers’ section in the members area of the website HERE (member login required).

If you are experiencing any issues with you member login or access to the Fellowship Papers section on the website, please call the office on +44(0)2077353160 or contact Mary Todd at mary@bis-space.com to check your membership status. We will also be maintaining a paper registration list which we can check and add your name to if you contact us by phone or by emailing events@bis-space.com with your name and fellowship number. Confirmation is subject to checks on Fellowship status.

16:00 BIS members Open Discussion and Get-together (open to all members)

Immediately after the AGM, at 16:00 All BIS members are welcome to join the Fellows for a general discussion on the BIS. This will be followed by a members social in the building.

Please Note. If you are a Fellow and have registered for the AGM (either in-person or online), you do not need to separately register for the open discussion and members get-together. This will be automatically included in your registration for the AGM and if you have registered for online attendance, we will send you both Zoom meeting links for the ‘AGM’ and ‘members open discussion’, which you will receive as two separate links to join at the times listed above.
