The British Interplanetary Society is pleased to announce NI Space as a Silver Sponsor of the 22nd Reinventing Space Conference.
NI Space is a regional space cluster established to promote and support regional capabilities in both the national and international space sector.
The organisation facilitates meaningful knowledge exchange and develops collaborations with a wide range of stakeholders to maximise potential and drive innovation within Northern Ireland’s growing space industry.
As a key supporter of the space sector in Northern Ireland, NI Space plays a vital role in connecting companies, organisations, and individuals with interests in the space industry across the region
Matrix, Northern Ireland’s Department for Economy Science Industry Panel, recently commissioned a high-level report highlighting Northern Ireland’s strengths in engineering, manufacturing, and technology – key assets that will help build a competitive and sustainable space sector in the UK, supporting economic development and high-value jobs. The Space Scoping Study provides a comprehensive analysis of the region’s strengths in space-related industries and outlines a strategic roadmap for enhancing Northern Ireland’s role in the sector.
Northern Ireland’s public sector is one of the largest in the UK. Covering all aspects of our lives from education to health to infrastructure and finance. It is also a key player in the rapidly expanding global space economy and highlights significant opportunities for utilising and adopting space enabled assets such as Earth Observation, Satellite Communications and PNT (Position, Navigation & Timing) to develop cost efficient and effective services for the whole population.
NI Space perfectly embodies this year’s conference theme, ‘The Rapidly Changing Context of Global Space’, as it operates at the very forefront of promoting regional space capabilities in Northern Ireland and driving economic growth in both national and international space sectors.
The 22nd Reinventing Space Conference will take place from 27-29 October 2025 at the Royal Aeronautical Society, 4 Hamilton Place, London, W1J 7BQ.
The Gala Dinner and Sir Arthur Clarke Awards will be held on the evening of 28 October 2025.
