The Society is delighted to announce that Simon Feast will join the Society’s team as Chief Executive from early 2022. Taking over from Elizabeth Anderson, leaving in November for a new charity sector post, Simon will bring a wealth of industry experience to the role.
Simon has worked in the space sector since studying for his undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in engineering at Oxford Brookes university. His background is in advanced propulsion systems development for future low-cost reusable access to space, following an extensive career at UK propulsion company Reaction Engines. His professional experience within the industry is wide ranging, covering technology R&D, business operations & development, and future strategic space studies. Simon has a strong passion for all aspects of astronautics and is very excited to be joining us at the BIS. He looks forward to meeting with the team and positively connecting with our members and wider network as he transitions into the role early next year.
