Fellows of the Society are invited to attend the 2022 Annual General Meeting at 16:00 GMT.
All BIS Members are invited to join the open discussion after the AGM at 17:00 GMT. We hope to have many of you join us.
All members and non-members are also invited to attend the BIS West Midlands Branch talk starting earlier in the afternoon at 14:00 GMT (see below).
All events are free to attend, however the AGM is open only to Fellows of the BIS and the ‘members Open Discussion and Get-together’ is open to all BIS Members and Fellows only.

14:00 BIS WM Talk – ‘Blasting into space from the UK’ by Robin Brand
This is being hosted online by the the BIS West Midlands Branch and is open to both members and non-members and is free to attend for all.
Registration for this is made separately through the BIS West Midlands registration form linked to from the event page HERE
The talk will also be live-streamed into our conference room for any members attending the AGM/members get-together in-person who wish to arrive earlier in the afternoon to watch the talk from the BIS HQ building. If you plan to do this, you do not need to register separately for the talk, however you do need to register below either for the AGM (fellows only) or members discussion and get-together (open to all members) to gain access to the building, as places are limited.

16:00 BIS Annual General Meeting (Fellows only)
Registered Fellows participate in the BIS AGM, either in-person at the BIS HQ or online. Any non-Fellows will be asked to leave the conference room for the duration of meeting, however are welcome to stay and socialise in the building or use the library whilst the AGM is taking place, until the members open discussion at 17:00, where they will be invited back in to the room.
Fellows can read more and register for the AGM through the ‘Fellowship Papers’ section in the members area of the website HERE (member login required).
If you are experiencing any issues with you member login or access to the Fellowship Papers section on the website, please call the office on +44(0)2077353160 or contact Mary Todd at mary@bis-space.com to check your membership status. We will also be maintaining a paper registration list which we can check and add your name to if you contact us by phone or by emailing events@bis-space.com with your name and fellowship number. Confirmation is subject to checks on Fellowship status.
17:00 BIS members Open Discussion and Get-together (open to all members)
Immediately after the AGM at 17:00, all BIS members are welcome to join the Fellows for a general discussion on the BIS. Followed by a members social in the building. Places for in-person and online registration are limited and on a first come first served basis.

Please Note. If you are a Fellow and have registered for the AGM (either in-person or online), you do not need to separately register for the open discussion and members get-together. This will be automatically included in your registration for the AGM and if you have registered for online attendance, we will send you both Zoom meeting links for the ‘AGM’ and ‘members open discussion’, which you will receive as two separate links to join at the times listed above.
