Starting from landing on Mars, through who-does-what, and everything in between the Solar System scale and the electronic components of our robotic explorers, this talk will provide a first hand account of the work of preparing for flying space missions in general, and ExoMars 2022 in particular.

# Bio

Tiago Loureiro has an Aerospace Engineering degree from the Technical University of Lisbon, Portugal. He has been at the European Space Operations Centre since 2004, where he is currently responsible for theground segment development and mission operations preparation for the Mars Exploration missions. Before his current role, he was part of the operations teams of several ESA Earth Observation and Astronomy missions. He started his career in Lisbon, in the nascent Portuguese space industry.
