The ESA’s role in Earth monitoring from space and a comprehensive overview of the results covering our atmosphere, seas, lands, earthquakes and up to the dramatic results regarding the ongoing climate changes .
Tommaso Parrinello has a degree in Physics from the University of Pavia and a PhD in Remote Sensing from the University of Dundee, and more than 20 years of work in ESA, where he started as Spacecraft Operations Engineer. As Mission Manager dr. Parrinello heads the exploitation phase of ESA’s Earth Explorers CryoSat-2 and Aeolus, supervising all routine satellite and ground segment operation, leading the relation with international scientific community to ensure close collaboration with ESA.
