NextGen Space Careers Day

Organised by the BIS NextGen Network (in collaboration with UKSEDS and SpaceCareers), the NextGen Space Careers Day offers a golden opportunity for students, early-career professionals and space-enthusiasts to engage with the UK space sector.
Held in parallel with the main Reinventing Space Conference, this special day is focused on exploring career paths, learning from experienced professionals, and contributing your voice to the evolving structure of NewSpace.
Speakers from industry and academia share their career journeys, alongside a panel, speed-mentoring, and an interactive afternoon workshop aligned with RISpace 2025’s theme, “The Rapidly Changing Context of Global Space,” presented in the voice of the next generation. The insights gathered will be presented at the conference’s end-of-day outputs and subsequently featured in upcoming editions of one of the BIS monthly magazines.
The Careers Day welcomes students and early-career professionals with an interest in the space sector. This is a parallel session to the main Reinventing Space conference and participation does not require registration for the main conference; however, those already registered can attend at no additional cost.
Join us on this inspiring day to engage with peers and industry experts, exchange ideas, gain inspiration, and help shape the next generation of space infrastructure.

This is a parallel session to the main Reinventing Space conference, open to everybody – separate registration is required and you do not need to be attending the main conference in order to attend this. If you register for the main conference, you can also drop into this session at no extra cost.
