We are always keen to receive technical papers relating to reviews, reearch, technology, engineering, and other related aspects of astronautics and space exploration, including law and medicine.  The Journal is run under the editorship of Dave Salt.

As a peer reviewed journal, we provide Guidelines for Authors, as well as two licensing options for published papers.  Typical papers are 5,000 – 6,000 words long.  Please read the Guidelines for Authors and then submit your paper.

Space Chronicle is the history magazine of the BIS. Our Editor, Dave Shayler, welcomes submissions on any aspect of space history – from the Society to major milestones, untold stories or archives around the world.

We recommend that you contact the Editor with your idea for a written piece prior to writing it, but he can also consider finished pieces.

Please note that, as a charity, the BIS does not pay for submissions to its magazines.
